#25 - The H Bomb

Stripes #26 (12-19-06)

I wanted to go out with a bang. (Heh heh.)

And that's a wrap! Thanks all for reading Stripes this past semester. I haven't heard yet if Stripes will be back in the spring. The current editor's rooting for me, so I think my chances are good. I have a lot more ideas I'd like to use, so I hope Cubby, Twitchy, Dallas, Audrey, Grim and Co. can stick around.
If not, there's no way to end a storyline like blowing up the planet. But if Stripes comes back, I'd just like to say that this has got to be the mother of all cliffhangers.

Stay tuned.

#25 - The Stripes Christmas Carol, Part 4

Stripes #25 (12-15-06)

In this strip I wanted to show that Twitchy isn't all that evil. Just mostly.

#21 - Untitled

Stripes #21 (12-7-06)

Man, I love the Muppet Christmas Carol. This series will run until the start of winter break.

This strip hints at a lot of past Stripes stories. Twitchy refers to Audrey's grand entrance and the piano from the birthday strips (in case you forgot the strip two days ago...) Twitchy's "moron" line in the last panel is borrowed from one of the first Stripes strips. I figure now's a good time to take a look back on the past season since it's almost over. I have a lot more ideas I'd like to put out, so I hope I'll be around for a second season!

#19 - The Aftermath

Stripes #19 (12-1-06)

That's a steak in the third panel. And yes, I know steaks are not made out of rabbits. And you try drawing a steak. Google "steak" and all you get is crap.

Anyway, I came up with the idea for the previous strip and this one before I thought of having a piano land on Cubby for his birthday. Originally, Twitchy smacked Cubby so hard he went delirious. But after I came up with the birthday strip, it only made sense to fit these two strips along with it, so the cause of Cubby's hysteria changed. I also don't want Twitchy to seem too evil either. He's just....very, very misunderstood.
